Leather cleaning (using all surface interior brush)

Can I use meguiar's leather cleaner/conditioner (I have both the spray and the bottle) with the interior brush safetly? Instead of the cleaner, I don't have it yet. It says the interior brush is safe for even leather but would anyone think the leather cleaner/ comditioner would work? Which would you think is better if so, the mist or the bottle? tia

I used the leather conditioner today but I did not use the brush to apply. I actually used it to pre scrub my leather. Used it to work the stuff out of the cracks and crevices. I then used an even coat applicator to apply the Cleaner/Conditioner.

IMHO If you were to use this brush as an applicator I would think alot of the product would likely just smoosh (technical term) up into the bristles and would not likely make contact with the leather itself. Maybe someone else will chime in here. I might try it if someone else shows they get successful results but my Even Coat Applicator seemed to work pretty well. Maybe the brush would be good for heavily soiled leather.

I agree. If you have dirt down in to work out, then use the brush. If not, an Even Coat applicator should be a better use of product.

You are using the Gold Class Cleaner/Conditioner, not the 2 step Cleaner and Conditioner?

If it was the 2-step, I guess you could apply the cleaner by the brush if needed, and the conditioner by Even Coat.

I'm not using the brush as an applicator..just to scrub out all the junk in the cracks and using the gc leather spray and after wipe off I apply the gc leaner/conditioner. It worked out well so I think I'm fine.

Oh OK, I must have misunderstood. Sounds like you pretty much did the same thing I just did a few days ago. I just skipped the spray part.

I just did it a little differently;

I scrubbed the leather with a dry brush, as you did, to remove to goop in the cracks. Then I vacuumed to loose debris up. I then used Quik Interior Detailer to wipe off any residual dust and and do a little minor spot revooval of the infrequent coffee drip or other unknown sticky substance (I have Kids). Then I used the GC Leather Cleaner and conditioner applied with the even coat applicator.

But my vehicle is only a few months old so I did not need to go much heavier than thiis. Plus I have already done this 2-3 times already.
