M105 & M205 cleaning up some hedlights

    M105 & M205 cleaning up some hedlights

    I already cleaned, dried and taped area off and ready for some Headlight Restoration with M105 & M205. They was pretty hazed and yellowed.


    Doing a little test spot to see if I could clear up and bring back a clear lens without having to wetsand. This is with M105 & a wool pad.


    Switched to a light cutting/polishing pad and lightened up on pressure and speed still using M105 to bring out a little more clarity.


    Did one last polishing step almost like jewling, but going for the clearest lenses possible. Switched to a polishing pad and M205 on slow speed and very light pressure with plenty of product.


    Now for the marker lamps.


    Same technique followed.


    Taped removed and time to repeat for other side.


    Condition of passenger side.


    Before and what I started with.


    After! Polished, Clear and 2 coats of Meguiars Headlight Protectant.

        Thank for the complements! Yeah have hundreds of pics of headlight Restorations, paint corrections, coatings, Interior details, couple nice Shelby cobra's, old muscle cars,70+ foot houseboat, just a little bit of everything.

        Going to try to start posting more on here, and get back into the scene. When you have Meguiars Products in your blood you can't stay away!
