  • Does your radio face have scratches? Here's how you fix it!

Not all of us have protective covers and as life would have it, we naturally get scratches on our radio face.

Here's how I restored the plastic using Meguiar's PlastX:

Note: Don't do this if you have a navigation screen or LCD screen. Those screens are most likely COATED plastic and you don't want to use the plastic polish on that.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Great video - excellent removal of the fine scratches and we love that you point out the very important caution to NOT use this on a coated navigation screen or other coated surfaces. So many people forget about that and end up damaging these delicate surfaces.

            Absolutely!

Just go gently in the beginning. I've noticed that most instruments panels are quite soft and it is possible to mar the surface. Use a foam pad NOT terry cloth or the like.
