  • 1st time user Plastx, any tips

My wife's car has some hazing on the headlights of her 2007 Toyota Camry, went and bout some plastx and some pads. I am going to clean them first, any tips that may give me the best results??

I am going to do it by hand with just the foam pad and a soft towel. No sandpaper, just polish i guess

Just kind of smear a thin layer across, then work it all in. Might take a couple applications.

Looks very good. I bet our wife was surprised with the results.

I bought the Headlight restoration kit with the plastic x and the little yellow pad. Can I use sand paper to make it work a little better? and then follow up with the pad and plastic X

Absolutely, but you will want to finish with 3000 grit paper before using the drill applicator and PlastX. This process should yield great results. Of course you may as well just try the drill applicator and PlastX before sanding. The least aggressive method necessary is always the way to go.

Its not so much that its yellow, it just has swirls and scratches in the plastic covers. It doesnt look bad, but maybe it can be alot better then it looks
