ATV plastic restoring help needed

Not sure if this is the correct section cause its not clear plastic but white. I have a Yamaha raptor with some plastics that have some scratches I would like to be able to get out. Looks like it would require some sanding though would there be a way to polish this back to a shine?

It is uncoated plastic? How bad are the swirls and scratches?

Im not sure if they put some kind of coating on it or not but it appears to be uncoated. I can get some pictures tonight.

Good luck with that! I used Plexus to shine the plastic up and make mine look nice. PlastX will haze it. You'd have to get fancy and use a heat gun, providing you don't melt the plastic or the plastic will be OK to do that on.

Ive heard of people using heat guns with good results.

Yeah, just wondering if the scratches were through to the plastic, or on the surface in a coating.

They are in the plastic some are pretty deep.
