  • Pad, Product combination for Lamps?

Hey all, it's getting to be detailing season for me and my Matrix. I have my PlastX from last year and it worked well with a foam applicator pad. This year I want to really get them cleaned up by using my G100. Question is, would PlastX and the G100 mesh well or is there something else to use that is better. Also what would be a good pad selection for the G100 (8006, 9006?)

This could go in the G100 forum too but since it is dealing with my lenses figured I would drop it here instead. They are not hazy or in need of sanding, just a good polish.

PlastX works well with the DA Polisher as long as the plastic is not so far gone it requires more aggressive correction like sanding.

Use a polishing pad, even a cutting pad since you're not working on the clear paint.

We also introduced this buffing pad in a kit that fits your drill.

Very nice, I would prefer to stick with my DA, I can easily tape up and around the lamp.

So it sounds like I can use an 8006 pad with no issue. Thanks!

Will we see the Headlight resto kit up here in Canada Mike?
