  • Can use ScratchX for polish headlight?

I have scrach X and NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 and Ultimate quick detailer. I don't know that product can use for polish headlight? The film coat of headlight to peel off. How to polish and restore????

If there is a coating on the headlight and it is coming off, polishing (Scratch X would clean, not polish BTW) will not fix that. If you want to polish it, get some Plast X.

I agree 100%. My previous car had this same problem (2001 Mustang). The headlights had the "sandblasted" look to them. The film was also coming off. The PlastX did a good job of restoring the plastic and making it less noticible. However, you do have to reapply the stuff every so often.

PlastX will remove the coating as well, though if it is coming off, whats the difference. It is a mildly abrasive cleaner just like ScratchX.

If you dont want to remove it, you will just want to use the wax and detailer.
