  • Engine Detail

    Hello,

This is my first post, I have read many of the other here, but still have not been able to find a good description of how to detail an engine.
I have two cars, one is used off road, and gets a lot of mud everywhere. The other car I just want to look pretty. Any suggestions on how to remove lots of built up mud and dirt and what products to use? Also, how to make the entire engine compartment really shine?

    thanks in advance
    -Ryan

ps, lots of great information in here, it's a very addictive forum to hang out in.

    Hi Ryan,

    Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

This is embarrassing. Here's the start of the how-to,

How-to clean and dress your engine compartment

and I have all the pictures, but I've never been able to carve out the time to finish it. Between e-mail and forum posts, I can pretty much stay busy 24 hours a day.

Let me see what I can do...
