any tips or advice is welcome. I'll be posting some before and after pics of my interiors soon. Next weekend I'll be doing the swirl removal by hand

The stuff I used was Meguiars degreaser from profesional line and some cd-2 that I got at auto zone (thanks to the guys here for recomending that product and were to find) I firts sprayed the whole thing with the degreaser, let it sit for a little bit and went to town with some rags and a spray bottle. Then use a sponge soaked with water to rinse the big build ups but never went with the actual water hose. Then let it dried with the engine running on idle and spread some cd-2 and that was it it took me like 30 to 45 mins the whole process. Once again, I just followed the instructions and the recomendations of all you guys to the T and it came out awesome. Thanks again

Lol better than what I did.

I went to town with a hose and a spray nozzle in my engine bay. Worked great, but I knew what to cover so I wasn't worried. Also did it on a cold engine.

CD-2 is an awesome engine dressing/detailer. Is not a cleaner thou. Do a search here and you'll find out a lot of info on it. Thats how I found out and just followed the steps that previous members had.

CD-2 Engine Detailer is made by a division of Turtle Wax. I understand that it virtually disappeared from stores a few years ago, and many speculated that TW was going to discontinue the product, but they appear to have changed their mind. CD-2 has recently reappeared in AutoZone stores around the country. I picked up a can for $5 at the local AZ. Also take a look a this Autopia thread. It is definitely an engine dressing worth trying.
