Gang,
Here's a coupla pictures of my Neon engine bay.
Typical Process:
Rinse engine bay
Liberal amounts of All Purpose Cleaner 7:1
Soak for a few
Agitate with brush
Rinse thoroughly (flood rinse).
Shop Vac on blower, knocked excess water out of crevices.
Dressing: Mirror Glaze M40
Before:Not too bad, but wanted a clean engine bay, just changed oil too! Just over 60,000 miles on this car!

Afters:

Gang, be careful when cleaning your engine bay, newer cars have electronics that don't like to get wet, cover anything you don't think should get water. I did not cover anything on this detail, I avoided direct pressure of water on the alternator and main computer and fuse/relay boxes. Just be careful on these things!
Also, do a test spot with your cleaner, too harsh a cleaner can make things worse!
Thanks for looking
Aaron
