GC Trim detailer on Valve covers?

I just got GC trim detailer. I was reading the back and it does not say anything about keeping it off hot surfaces. Is it alright to use it on valve covers? My 03 Mach 1 has Black Valve covers. I have registerd it for a show this saturday.

No guarantees that it will last and also that it won't have any kind of adverse affect, just no way of really knowing.

GCTD is for vinyl and rubber but it seems to work pretty good on flat black paint to make it look darker and richer, also for vinyl graphics, tends to restore the richness of color.

It will probably make the black paint darker and blacker but with engine temps no guarantee how long it will hold up...

Thanks Mike for the quick info.I can't wait to use it tommorow. I am going to use it on my flat black stripes too.

Just keep in mind this is not an official Meguiar's' recommendation at all, so no guarantees on your results. Take a before and after picture please and help others to learn from your experience from this project and good luck at the show this weekend!
