Hey does anyone now if that degreaser "orange clean" would work on degreasing the engine and not harm anything?

Re: Orange Clean as Degreaser?
Hmmm... since this is a Meguiar's Sponsored forum, I'll say use This!
I have no idea what orange clean would do... I tend to stick with automotive products for my vehicles... mostly. The only reason some people get lost in thought... is because it is unfamiliar territory for them.

Re: Orange Clean as Degreaser?
I did a google search and if I found the right product they say...
Orange Clean Pro Multi-Purpose Cleaner & Degreaser is not recommended for silk, wool, soft vinyl or plastic coated surfaces (such as microwave number pads), varnished, acrylic plastic, aluminum or lacquered surfaces. Do not use on floors -- it may make surface slippery. Always follow label instructions and test in an inconspicuous area before using
So whatever you do make sure to test it on a small area first.
Not sure if you dilute the cleaner or not but based on the stuff I found in my google search. For $15 a gallon you would be better off picking up some APC+. It's about the same price per gallon but you mix it at 4:1 to 10:1 depending on how strong you need it. So for your $15 you will get 5-11 gallons of cleaner instead of 1.Scott
