Hyper dressing

Just ordered some hyper dressing. When I use it in my engine compartment, I want to get a nice satin finish. How should I dilute it? Thanks and sorry for the noob question..

Welcome to MOL!

I prefer Hyper Dressing, 3:1 (Satin finish) under the hood. Here is a shot of HD applied, pulled from this post:Hyper Dressing - another good one!

3:1 ratio is water/HD and if you want it more glossy then maybe 2:1. Maybe dumb question but I just want to make sure.

Safe D-Greaser
Dewaxing 20:1
Medium Duty Degreasing 10:1
Heavy Duty Degreasing 4:1

Hyper Dressing
1:1 High Gloss
2:1 Medium Gloss
3:1 Satin Finish
4:1 Natural Shine

Do you just spray on the HD and let it set or do you have to wipe it off? I'll be glad when it all gets here so I can get my engine looking good. I'll post some pics too.

I dilute HD 3:1. I wipe down all the bigger "flat" areas and wipe up the puddles. That's about it. It's the best thing I've ever used for the engine compartment. You'll love it!

I thought your Tacoma was a Prerunner at first because I didn't see the vacuum assist for your 4wd ADD... but your 04 must have more differences than just the drive-by-wire throttle body!

Your truck (at least in the engine compartment) looks Really good!

Yours is almost 10 years old and still looks new. I hope I can keep mine looking that good.
