  • What kind of "coating" does Hyperdressing leave?

I've never used Hyperfinish before. Does it leave an "oily" film on everything or does it dry.

Just wondering if it collects dust or if anything sticks to it. Is it slimy when you're trying to work on something after it's been applied?

    Thanks!
It's only weird because it's not normal

I've never had a problem with HD attracting dust. It does catch more dust than if you were to leave the engine "bare" but its not really enough to be worried about. Its one of my favorite dressings for engines.

What makes the Hyper Dressing unique is the ability to dilute it to your liking. This is great for professionals looking to lower cost or just someone at home who may want to experiment with different gloss levels. It can be diluted anywhere from 1:1 - 4:1.

Ah, yes.... the finish you see in the photos is 3:1 if I remember correctly.

I have now used Hyperdressing under the hood and I really like it.

I have also tried it on exterior surfaces but it washes away quickly and leaves a spotty (easily smoothed out by a quick wipe) finish.

I'm switching to All Season Dressing for exterior parts to see what that is like.

Another reason I really like Hyper Dressing under the hood... dust doesn't seem to stick to it nearly as easily. I am comparing this to NXT Generation Tech Protectant.

I love HD under the hood, nothing looks better! I too switched to ASD for the exterior like wheel wells, tires and plastic trim and it does last longer than HD on those parts. So now I use both.
