  • Differrence?

What is the difference between the safe d- greaser and the super. other than the fact one is more powerful, or is that the only main thing. thank you

I posted the answers to this somewhere on this forum, but it will take some searching to find it.

In a nutshell, each degreaser offers either more cleaning power and less safety, or more safety and less cleaning power.

    What are you working on?

I think Mike meant what sort of car part are you working on? Such as wheel wells, under the hood...

I've been using Safe-D-Greaser lately on my wheel wells, at 4:1 dilution, and it works very well.

I'd use safe-d greaser then, I did, and it's definately strong enough to tackle anythign in there with a little agitation. But some people use super degreaser with great results.

I've never used Super Degreaser myself, but that's mostly because I feel Safe D-Greaser has enough cleaning power for me. Plus, I'm always using it in areas that have a mix of metal, plastic, and rubber surfaces. So, it's nice to know that the Safe D-Greaser will not dull or grey the plastic and rubber.
