Everyone should go, if for no other reason than to meet Joe. The best part about the last expo was the evening sat by the pool listening to Joe !

                            Hi Paul,

Be sure to update us and share some pictures.

I couldn't make it this year as Lynn's Grandpa is getting married this Saturday and my son Rand is the Ring Bearer, so I'll be the proud dad while Lynn's the proud granddaughter.

Grandpa is 90 years old by the way!

I know Joe left early this morning so we hope to get an update from his as well.

                            Have fun!

Hey I'm back in my cubicle in NY.

The Mobile Expo was a very worthwhile event. I think most of it was due to the people I met who all have the same interest.

                              Here is my experience:

Day one was a training seminar provided by Bud Abraham. 8:30am till 5:30 with a lunch break. He went over practically everything from how to run a successful detailing business to chemicals and overall general detailing things.

Day two was bits of detailing seminars .i.e. how to increase detailing profitability, and odor and stain removal, windshield repair etc.etc.

The Expo was on the 13th and 14th (I only attended the 13th) and the show had plenty of booths showcasing things from mobile detailing trailers, carpet extraction tools, all chemicals, PaintlessDentRepair(PDR), portable garages, headlight restoration products - the list goes on. There were plenty of demos. PDR was a big portion of the entire event and there was even a dent olympic competition. Sunroof companies showing an install on a chevy colorado pickup and so on.

Friday night had the PDTA roundtable event. This was worth the entire trip. I got a chance to meet and talk/hang out with great guys - Bud Abraham, Rob Regan, Prentice, Steve, Joe @ superior shine, Jim Hammell, Renney and many others! Then we went out for beers at the local Ale House and drank the night away talking about detailing.

I might attend it next year just to hang out w/ great people. Also note - there is supposed to be an International Car Wash convention on March 13-14 at Las Vegas. I heard there was detailing stuff there as well.

I had a great time, learned a hell of a lot, and met great people in the industry. Wish OctaneGuy and Mike could have made it as well.

Megs should have had a booth there too. Would have been good exposure.
