  • cleaning your pads

I've searched and searched. I can't seem to find anything.

What does everyone do with their pads when you're done? I've got a 9006 full of wax stuck in a bag and an 8006 with M83 on it stuck in another bag.
    I like to gather information.

There's actually a couple of pretty good threads on this... sometimes the "Search" button doesn't always dig them up.

Quick question... what wax are you using with the W-9006 finishing pad?

        Here's a post I made in a previous post:

"I have more than 30 pads. They all get washed at least once a week..

We use a 3 bucket method:

        1. Dawn soak for several hours or more. Hand scrub/agitate, squeeze dry.

        2. Rinse, squeeze, rinse squeeze, repeat.

        3. Rinse, squeeze, rinse squeeze, repeat.

If the water in the third bucket is still clear, squeeze, and spin in bucket #4 via the PC or rotary for 10 seconds, and airdry over night.

Kinda labor/time intensive, but, at $10-12 each, these pads deserve special attention.

        Oh Yeah, heat is bad..."
