303 on paint?

I know a lot of people think highly of 303 and recommend it as they would Meg's #40, but today I read this
and it seems way out there. Has anyone here tried 303 on their paint? I could see it possibly bringing out some color, but not as an alternative to wax.

Seems like it would be kind of expensive as a quick detail type of product. At 20 bucks for 32 oz, I could find a number of other options.
