Re: NXT TECH CLASS II, these guys are CAR CRAZY

I'd rather not say until I see some serious interest.
At that point, I'll make the calls to ensure that we'd have access to the facility.

I do have a list of guys, that, over the past couple years, have e-mailed me expressing interest in attending the 'next' NXTti class. If I see more interest online here, I'll certainly contact those people and see who's excited about attending NXTti still.

As far as throwing my hat in as an instructor/host... I am IN!
Without involvement of the appropriate people at Meguiar's and Mirka...
    NXTti simply DOES NOT HAPPEN.

So... If any of you are interested in attending an NXTti, this is the place to post your interest!!
Of course, the NXTti classes are not free. Rate for entry of the class was $495.00 (Seminar, NXTti kit valued at at least $495.00 retail, and lunch is included in the fee.)

I'll have to revisit that figure to make sure that's a number that'll work.
If it happens, it's a class worth attending, I assure you!

    Yes.
I've got a KILLER venue in which to hold the deal...
In the Northern California area. If we could get the NXTti instructors together and the students-
I'd happily put the effort forward. It would be GREAT!

I'd like to do TWO separate classes, twenty students per class.
One complete NXTti on a Friday and then again on Saturday.

Since it costs SO much to host the class, travel to & from the event, round up instructors, pay for food, build the kits, etc, etc,...
I'd have to sign up approximately 40 students!

I am sure if there were enough interest Kevin and Meguiars would put something together.

In addition to the other stuff suggested by our esteemed colleagues,

The G-500 adjustable handle is threaded 1/2"-13NC male.

    LOL

Are you sure? I thought it was when the pitcher uses the ball with an elastic on it attached to his glove.

according to hitachi's parts list it takes a
m10x20 bolt on each side of the bail handle but they do have an optional side handle

It looks like the hitachi SP18va machine uses a bail-style handle, which is generally not compatible with the Meguiar's G500 handle. If you've got a way to check the thread pitch of the bolt I could tell you for sure if it could work.

The G500 is available on the ebay store for around $8.00... That's a great price! These handles were sold at $30.00 retail (and $8.00 is WAY below warehouse cost)!
