I'm lost when it comes to designing or creating a logo for my small detailing business. Any help out there or ideas? Thanks in advance.

<~~~~~ this is mine!
I'm a massage therapist and wanted to display my zodiac signs. I'm an Aries Sun, Cancer Rising, and Virgo Moon. For those into astrology, you'll know exactly what I'm about.
It's colorful, simple, yet still eye-catching.
That's what I wanted to display to my customers -- what do you want to show yours?
I had the brief idea of a PC or rotary at the right side of a shiny steel-colored block/oval with your business name in the block..."Son, crying in your milk is bad enough; crying in your hot fudge sundae is just disgusting."

Thanks for the replies. I'll put something together and post later. Thanks again.
1. Go ahead and choose some one local that you can have direct contact with.
2. Don't go to the internet, I tried this with a company called Execulogo, thought what the heck it's cheap. It was a PITA process and I still didn't get what I was looking for.
3. I have spent $300 on logos and still not satisfied, if I would have just gotten a local artist to begin with I would have saved a lot of time and effort.
4. Make sure to get a vector file. This is the file that people use to digitize for signs and apparrel, etc.
5. Try a place that makes signs they usually have an artist familiar with Adobe illustrator that can create your logo. this is what i am doing now and they take a real interest in creating something cool."Washing for the People"
