i cant believe a day after making a craigslist post i get a call to detail an 02 Cadillac 4 door. i show up first thing in the morning to his house and his wife comes out and asks if i can do her hyundai suv. I was there about 8 hours and detailed both cars. Told them 200 was a fair price and they gave me 230. Not only that, but they already want me back to do their boat and said they have a nice list of friends that would like similar work done. I see great potential with mobile detailing and had to share my first experience. i will continue reading this forum for how to info and learn to stay competitive!!

Re: my first
so i am trying to make this business more than just a little side business.i am curious as to what licensing is required if any to do a full detailing business for auto/boat/rv/marine ....i am already looking into acquiring commercial accounts and want to make sure every legal aspect is taken into consideration...also i heard someone say that some insurance companies (i believe state farm) actually can work out some sort of insurance coverage for the business
