    Please let me know what you think. Is there a comparable program out there?
    This one cost $2000+

    It tracks hours, employees, clients, sales, non-sales, marketing, etc .........

    I am about ready to purchase it but I wanted a few opinions first. thanks

    Hi Joe,

    I"ve never seen software like this before? It looks very thorough and comprehensive.

      Actually, that's an excellent price for what they are including in that software. I doubt that you will find anything "comparable" for less than that price.

      If you are looking for a less expensive alternative, you might want to consider one of Quickens "quick books" software options........

        I have been running my business for years of quicken. No need for all that fancy stuff as it will take more of your time using the program then what is really needed.

        If you are an active boss/owner and stay involved in your business you will find what works for you and save yourself the $2,000.

          UPDATE;

          It has been a year since I purchased the software. It was pretty hard for me to learn (I am not good with computer stuff) but it is an awsome software.

          Customer support is top notch.

            IMHO I'd stay away from a $2K software package not being very computer & software savvy. I'd get a client to do something I could use & barter so the $2K stays in my pocket.

              Have you ever used Quickbooks before?

                One thing you might want to look into is what I did. I had a hard time convincing my company to spend $2k on software also. Since I have MS Office 2003 Professional I made my own databases in Access.. It sure took alot of reading some books to get what I wanted and also I downloaded and requested demo software to see what exactly I wanted and implemented that into my database. You can make graphical databases just like the package you were looking at also, and make your own reports too. I have run reports I do monthly that show types of calls we flew on and distances, fuel used, and more info. A scheduling database, inventory, model/serial numbers. Access is hard to learn and takes time I know you said you are not good with computers, either am I that probably why It was so hard for me. Microsoft also has a bunch of working databases on the office website you can use and customize. That is what I did to get what I wanted in some and then added and removed from them also. I still look into commercial packages out there because I want to see if they have a feature Im missing that I never thought of.

                Hope this helps some
