  • My new ad series

    Black Vette Flyer

Clean, simple, and to the point. What does everybody think?

I am going to be designing and running a whole series of these. I am aiming for a more modern look. Any suggestions would be great!

Are those cars that you have actually detailed?

Unfortunately no. They ran well with the color schemes so I went with them. That'll be a secret though, between you, me, and the other 30,000 MOL members.

                Re: My new ad series

I really like them! Only suggestion is that some of the text looks a little pixely, any way to make it look smoother?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                Remove swirls my friends.

                  Re: My new ad series

Chris, I really like what you've done. Just a few comments, please keep in mind I have no expertise in graphic design and my comments are barely worth 2 cents.

In the black scheme, the blurring seems unnecessary, especially on the car and the text. The missing text made me think of a printer running out of ink.

In the green scheme, the object on the upper right is a nice three dimensional element. However, the green, at least on my computer, is not in the same family or shade of green as the green of the car. I find the element very interesting, it seems a little out of place in that shade of green.

In the orange scheme, the blurring seems unnecessary. The orange element seems so large, try moving the text inside of it up a bit.

The red scheme is very nice. I keep going back and forth as to whether the large white void on the upper right is good or whether something needs to move over there.

Really a nice job. I wish you much success with this campaign!!
