  • What do you think of my business logo?

    As displayed in my avatar:

EDIT - Also have one on a white background:

This one I've also made with a transparent background - perfect for watermarking my photos.

I never been a fan of reverse fonts [i.e white fonts on a black background ]
I got so mad at a girl who was texting while she was driving, that I rolled down my window and threw my beer at her

I think it looks cool, but it's too difficult to read. I suggest you use a font that looks clean and crisp. It can still be fancy, but it should be easy to read. A fairly good example is the Meguiar's font.

Really just the 'O's that are rough...

            Right off I thought the O was a G.

Yes, I was having the same problem. For me or you, we could figure it out, but for a potential client it could ad confusion. Maybe if you could clean the "O" up some it would look great

At the very least can you change the O's? Difficult to read.

I think it's too difficult to read at just a glance. I think the "obsession" font needs changed to some other type - without the shading/fading/highlights as well.

Yeah, unless you're shooting for the hip-hop crowd... you may want to consider a complete revision.

The colors and idea are cool, but its really a graffiti-style font that just won't play north of 22 year olds.

Don't feel bad- I have to redo graphics stuff ALL the time!!!

+1. On my initial glance, I thought it read GBSES SIGNS, but then I was able to figure it out (esp after I read your sig). I think a different font would serve you better, but it's a minor detail.

My first quick glance and I was thinking "recession automotive detailing?" Seems appropiate for the current state of the nation. It is hard to read without really concentrating on every letter.

I would change the O's at the very least. It took me awhile to figure out it said "Obsession"

I like it. The challenge of reading the name makes it memorable.

UPDATE - After taking everything on board regarding the font issue lol, I've finally changed it!

Have been very busy of late with my fulltime job, so as yet still haven't officially 'started' the marketing side of it!
But I have started trading - got my first proper 'showcar' detail coming up at the start of April, very excited!!!

                              Here's the revised logo:

Have also done a watermark for my photos (have reduced the size so as to not annoy everybody!)
I've settled an a look of around 60% transparency on photos!

Here's an example on a photo of a car I detailed just before Christmas - 2008 Holden Commodore SV6 in Solid Red:

Hopefully when people put their cars up for sale etc using my photos, it will help to direct traffic to my website!
The website itself is also nearing completion, I had to wait a while as I changed domain name registrars, but that's all sorted now, so it's just the finishing touches left!
