Re: Looking For Business Card Feedback

Good call on the email address, I use houstonautobutler@gmail.com for my detailing. As far as water beads go, I don't know if you can get embossed or not, but I would think about a glossy white card with embossed beads on half and smooth on the other half kind of like the Smooth Surface Clay Kit has on the front of the box.

How about ditching the blue stripe. Make the bottom stripe red also. Then in black do the auto detailing?

I think your foundation is solid. The ideas are great, and the logo is pretty good too. I agree on ditching the car so glad that you did that. Just a personal thing, I'd write out the word phone or drop the word all together. the ph is kind of random. Other than that, the front is great.

The card is going to have to be a gloss card if you want the drops to show up well. Check your font size on your listed services as anything below 8 or 9 fringes on illegibility. I'd reconsider saying "Meguiar's Professional Detailer Products used" The word used to me just sounds kind of awkward, maybe drop it all together?

On the website, definitely go for one. Theyre cheap, and with the right design will impress anyone. Make sure to keep your backup yahoo email address as I've learned that email addresses from your personal domain will have a tendency to get caught in spam boxes where yahoo/gmail wont.

Overall though, I love the logo and the basic design of the card! Nice work!

OK- so after some revising, here is the final draft, which I'm having printed by an online printing service as of this afternoon. I should have them in my hands by the middle of next week.

I'm using printplace.com. I got 1000 two sided, color, UV gloss coated cards for $35.64 with a coupon code I found online. I've never used them before, but they were recommended on another detailing forum I'm a member of.
