  • Flyer Questions??

I'm trying to figure out the correct way to make a flyer? Do you put pricing on the flyer? Or do you just let the customer know your services and that you are there for them? Any help is appreciated....Thanks!

    Re: Flyer Questions??

I do some graphic design work here and there and anytime I do flyers for various events/businesses, prices are usually placed on them. Flyers usually tell potential customers who you are, what you do, what it'll cost them, and how they should contact you.

Just my opinion though, it's your flyer, you can put whatever you want on it!

I would say for more 'mass production" type details, you could list a package, or range.

The Show Car type things would want to call and inspect for a quote.

Making with listing your packages say prices start at $$$. This will cover you in case you run into something nasty. It will give you some room to raise the price accordingly. Without being locked in to a ridiculously low price.

        Good luck.

Definitely have a prices starting at.........this will eliminate alot of bargain basement price shoppers calling you that have no intention of paying any reasonable amount for a quality detail.

+1, plus you want the customer to contact you for everything, even if it is to ask for a total price on something. Another helpful hint maybe include a $xx off coupon for new customers (just make sure you put en expiration date on it). I would say it should include:
            -name of business
-a little blurb about your detailing (keep it short)
            -contact info
-maybe what kind of detailing you do (car, marine, motorcycle, etc.)
            -graphics are always nice

bottom line is that it's gotta pop and catch the eye. Maybe make it a little "cheesy" depending on the season, for example if you are handing them out in February, have a heading of "You will fall in love with our package or prices or something like that." You'll be surprised how much people will remember that cheesy looking flyer when in need of a detail.

              Re: Flyer Questions??

I typically dont put prices on my flyers to help draw in more potential calls and customers to get them on the phone and interested and explain the prices later on in the conversation.
