When I got out of jail almost three years ago, I worked a construction job for about a year and a half and had dreams of starting a mobile detailing business. In that year and a half I managed to save $10,000, and finally took the dive and started putting together a detailing rig. I quit my construction job and went full force with detailing. Six months after I started my own business I put myself in college. Six months after that I moved out of my moms apartment. Im busier then ever and havent advertised in almost a year. Im getting ready to start my new advertising campaign and up the business income. Im currently in the process of putting things together for a seperate mobile tinting rig with another employee. I just got in with the Ferrari dealership and I currently have 9 daily customers with Ferraris. Ill be 21 in six months!!!!! Im drouling to find out where I will be in 5 years from now..... Guys hard work realy does pay off!!!!! find out what you want and then get on your feet and go get it!!!! Dont let anybody else tell you, you cant. I went from a cell, to being 20 driving and working on ferraris in college in my own place!!!

Re: this feels good!!!!!
I'll amen that! I'll be 21 the end of July. I've gotten through college mostly on scholarships, and I work part-time at a dealership for gas and spending money. I still live at home for right now (at least until I get out of school, then I'll see what goes from there), but I buy whatever I need - shoes, clothes, food, gas, car insurance, stuff like that. Sounds like you got back on the right track! Best of luck to you! Way to go!Shane

Re: this feels good!!!!!
Way to turn things around in your life Details. I can't agree more that if you work hard enough, it will pay off.
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.
I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.

Re: this feels good!!!!!
Details, you almost sound like one of those success stories Barry Meguiar likes to highlight on the Car Crazy TV show as he promotes the car hobby and the people who's lives have been changed by it. Good for you, and congratulations on building what sounds to be a great foundation for an even more successful future!Michael Stoops
