For now count me in +2 more. It looks like it will be me and my two sons. What do you want us to bring? How close to MacDill AFB will you be????? What is the cost???? Do you want me to call Meg's and see if they can send us some "FREEBIES" or stickers or signs?????? Sorry for all the questions.....just really looking forward to seeing some of you and learning new tricks.

I will be providing ice, cups, plasticware, plates, ham/cheeseburgers and hotdogs. We will need sides (chips, potato salad, etc.) and drinks.

Bring your own chair as I only have a few.

Cost? What do you mean? As in am I charging to have you guys at my place? No way! This is gonna be a fun day to share detailing tips and tricks and to just be social.

If you would like to call Meguiars that would be cool. I am not sure what they would do for us, but some stickers or posters would be nice.

Gary, here's my plan so far...let me know what you think:

I'll be renting a car from a local rental agency (names withheld to protect the innocent) with the added insurance and use that to drive over from Miami. Most rental cars, in my experience, are riddled with swirls. But just in case not, I can run it thru a machine car wash in Tampa upon arrival...

I'll be bringing my PC and the Flex plus an assortment of pads/products so that those visiting can try them out on the rental ride. Would be good for those who don't have a lot of experience or haven't used a Flex before. Everyone can get some hands-on experience with defect removal and share tips/tricks.

Another good idea might be to get a list going of products people would like to try...wheel cleaners, various brushes/tools, different waxes, polishing compounds, interior products, etc. I'm sure between all of us we have pretty much any product someone could think of and 99% of the Meguiar's lineup...old and new.

Just an idea...

Bounty, you sly devil....lol. I did my wifes car last weekend after we had so good success with the Mustang. I will bring whatever I can. To be completely honest I need help getting my wifes interior squared away. I would love to try the flex and the orange pads you were talking about. Cross your fingers my deployment schedule does not shift.

Sounds like a good idea! I planned on having a couple of cars to work on either way. I have a G110 and a Makita Rotary (of course) and I am placing an order for a Flex tomorrow. I also have pretty much every product you can think of.

Sounds like it is shaping up great. I cant wait to try the flex out also. I have been thinking about getting one. I will wait to check it out in person before making my decision.
