I've used them before. They're ok. Don't last as long as I'd like, although I have yet to find an air freshener that lasts as long as I'd like. I use Auto Scents pads. There's 60 of 'em to a container, and they run about $18. I get 'em through the Auto Magic distributor, since we use Auto Magic products at the dealership where I work. I think the scents I have right now are New Leather, Fresh 'N' Clean, Mango Tango, and Mountain Air. I replace them about once a week or so, since I like a strong smell in my car. They last longer than that, but I replace them sooner. Two of them will get me by.

kewl, that's what I was looking for, the length of time they smell.
I use Vanilla Trees and they don't last long either, they seem cheaper per use then trees.

I like Glade Car Scented oils as long as they are adding fragrance and not covering malodor. Clean up the stench with APC+ or Odor Eliminator and replace the worn out new car smell with QID or better yet #40 .

Although they dont last that long... a couple days... I ABSOLUTELY love them. I use the "fresh and clean" scent. I used to work at a car wash that used them and some of the guys could mix the scents and make some pretty good stuff.
Pretty from far.... But far from Pretty

Interesting. Do you remember what scents they mixed and how they mixed it? Did they just put 2 or 3 different scents in a car?

I find they're a lot like the Little Trees air fresheners. In both cases, when the scent is gone, you can "refill" them by pouring a liquid air freshener onto the material to soak in. Usually gives another week or so.

I recently just found out about them. They were under the seats when I bought my new car. I found a guy locally that has a site and sells them 5.95 for a dozen free shipping. Not bad because I can’t use 2 and 300 at a time. They are over at buy-wonder-wafers.comfficeffice" />

                          Re: Wonder Wafers-Anyone used them?

the dealership i bought my car from uses wonder wafers. i liked the scent so much, that when it started to wear out, three or so months down the road, i made a point of meeting their detail guy on the weekend after a sixty mile one way trip, so i could find out exactly what they use.

it was the wonder wafer nu car. however, you *have* to use an odor eliminator as well. if you don't, then the nu car has a weird aroma... waaaay too much pine. when you use an odor eliminator - i got a meguiars from oreilly's - it's a very subtle scent that lasts for around three months. for the odor eliminator, i use two sprays under the driver seat, and one under the passenger seat.

i let the odor eliminator sit for a few hours, and then i throw a wonder wafer under the passenger seat. you really only smell it with circulation. if the windows are up, and the vents are off, you don't smell much at all.
