  • last step product for wash and vac

looking to add a last step product to my wash and vac package because the largest local carwash offers it in their $25 pkg.

things i want out of the product:

extremely easy application. wipe on wipe off. if possible, as i dry.

want both added gloss and protection.

the only thing else in the package for the body is a good old 100% hand wash.

hit me up with some suggestions. thanks!

Something for the paint correct? If so use either X-Press Liquid Wax or NXT Generation® Spray Wax.

Both can't be used while the car is wet, but nothing Meguiar's offers can do that. They will both add gloss and help boost the protection of the existing wax. I favor NXT Generation Spray Wax but it isn't available in bulk like X-Press wax is.

The only wipe on/wipe off thing woould be a quick detailer type of product.... maybe something like the #M135 (similar to Ultimate Quick Detailer). It will add gloss, but no real protection.

The other option would be something like the X-Press Wax, which is going to need applied, then wait a few minutes, then remove. That will add some decent protection for a little while at least.

Eagle One has a Wax-as-U-Dry that works fairly well. Spray and Dry and you are good to go. It will not replace a traditional wax job and is best applied on a well treated (already waxed) finish but it will work for what you need it for.

Does it need to be for the exterior? How about a quick dash cleaning or dressing?

You can use quik wax while you dry. Spray it on a towel and dry it. It will haze just like a wax so you will need to go back over it with a MF.

Like others have mentioned, X-Press wax or maybe Last Touch Spray Detailer.

Optimum Car Wax or Duragloss Aqua Wax. DG AW can be used as you dry the car, OCW can be used as the car is moist and you are doing a final wipe
