  • business name

im starting a mobile detailing business and im trying to finalize my name.
    Patrick Henry's Automotive Transformations
    (P.H.A.T. Detailing)

i picked it because i think that the name shouldnt be generic (i.e. Pat's Detailing) and should also be memorable.

tell me what you guys think. all suggestions welcome

      Re: business name

Sounds good but as some construction criticism...it sounds like your a detailer and a automotive transformer. I know it makes sense to most of us detailer's but some people might take your business for something it isn't.

      I like it though!

It sounds good, But like Ryan stated it sounds like your adding mods to cars not detailing them. Just my $0.02.

          Re: business name

I like the name. You can just mention the name to a few people to see what kind of business they think it is. Don't use detailing until after they give you a response. You want people who don't know what you do to respond and also a few that do. I would try that before saying yey or ney. Just my .00000000001.

My 2 cents would be make sure your business name is easy to remember, tells your customer what's in it for them and works for a domain name.

I would think twice about using the abbreviation PHAT. There's a clothing line with that handle and the owner (from whtat I've seen on TV anyway) looks like one tough babe. I'm sure it's a copywrited trademark. Just a thought.

                  Patrick,

Ever given any thought to using your business name in association with the person who delivered a memorable speech on March 23, 1775?

It could be a great way to postion your detailing business in the marketplace.
