Sorry, I agree with Murr. It almost looks like detailing is 2 words. det ailing. But otherwise I like the colors and design.

My 2 cents...The chrome effect is great, but I'd double check w/ local printers to determine what it costs and looks like on letterhead, business cards, T-shirts, etc... all the places you envision using your logo.

3-D effects can be troublesome to reproduce which can result in a poor appearance. They can also become very expensive as it turns into a muli-color process to print... and forget about embroidery.

Consider creating a second, 2-D, 2-color black & white logo for those uses where it's either technologically not possible or cost prohibitive to use the 3-D version. Also, I'd add another hot spot ('star') to accentuate the "shine" aspect on both your "Wilson's" wordmark as well the circle graphic device behind the "W".

                  Best of luck!

I agree w/ what cosmo said. It looks great for using on a website, ect. But t-shirts, business cards, embroidery, letterheads, fliers, ect are limited or expensive for that type of stuff.

I like it! But like everyone else has said the "ta" does look a little funny. Maybe if they extended the "t" a little and underscored the "ailing" it would flow a little better.

detailing That is a weak attempt but you should get the idea.

Re: New Company Logo . . .what do you think?

Thanks, guys, for all your insights/impressions. I had not noticed the odd letter spacing and will see about getting that fixed. As far as t-shirts, etc. are concerned, I have a two color example without the "chrome".

Also, I have the rounded "w" separated for an icon that can be set in different ways.

The background of the business cards is (are) black with light water beading . . . on coated card stock . . . this should be cool.
