what would you guys get...if possible could you give me the ups and downs of each (ie get saturated, wear out, etc)... i was thinking about getting two water magnets, and 1 each premium leather and super suede...or super soft whatever...with the leather one do you have to put any kind of conditioner in it to keep it soft over time or do you just have to throw it away. also i read somewhere to start with a ss and finish it wit a wm thats why i am getting both. im starting to get more business and i need stuff that will last and treat the paint right. thanks

Re: drying cloths for multiple cars
I normally prefer waffle weave microfiber towels like the Water Magnet for drying but if you’re doing multiple cars any woven cloth towel is going to saturate and loose effectiveness.
Chamois and chamois-like sheets do work when saturated. I used to use natural leather chamois but now that the synthetics are available I’ll never go back. The new stuff just works better in every way.
A lot of guys like PVA sponge sheets like the Absorber and similar products but I find they stick to the finish too much for me. I really prefer Meg’s Soft Touch Microfiber Chamois. (Although, If mine were eaten by hyenas, I would replace them with the larger Microfiber Super Suede Drying Cloths from the marine line.)
When they’re saturated you can just wring them out and keep going. I think it’s a good idea to rinse them out between cars so you don’t transfer dirt from one to the next.
They can leave a tiny bit of water behind when they’re wet. For that you can just chase it with a microfiber (either waffle weave or plush weave) or not if you’re QDing the car afterward anyway.
PC.
