Polish carbon fiber hood?

Can you actually use #80 with PC on carbon fiber hood?
It feels like hard plastic, It got scratches and I am itchy to grab PC and run it on the hood.

There's actually a lot of threads on this topic as we've restored quite a few CV hood in the past. Just do a search and use the search words
