  • Water Tank....

    Morning guys and gals!

I bought a cargo van, and am in need of a water tank. Not sure what size I need, and looking for your advice.

I'm a pretty light detailer. Maybe 2-3 cars per day max at the moment. Although, I would like to have enough water to wash several more cars if the opprtunity arises. I always seem to get someone walking up while I'm working on someone else car, looking to get thier car done also.

    So, 90g? 115g? 150g? More?

Also, I bought a 2004 Chevy G3500 van. Do I need to mount the water tank directly over the rear axle? I'm sure I do, but wasn't sure with it being a 1 ton van.

    Thanks in advance!
    Nick

    Re: Water Tank....

    Hi:

Here is some information that should help.

For a van the tank may need to be mounted more to the front, not sure.

See if you can find the loading diagram for the vehicle, maybe in the owners manual if you have it.
