  • Mobile business??

    hello....... im green to the deatail business i bought a new car and started cleaning it and its become an addication ive gotton better and ihave been a lurker on this site trying to gain as much information as i can..... and its been very helpful...

    if i wanted to start a mobile business on the side what would be a good professinal trailer thats enclosed that meets epa standards?

    also softwater or di? is that just a treatment that you add to tap water?


    thanks and i know these may be some real rookie questions but all help is very apprecaited

    Since it's regulations in USA, I think superior Shine would be the best to answer that question.

    As far as I know, you should use a moderate portion of water and have your own supplies of water and power to make your professional look a real professional one.

      i own a mobile detailing business in maine. i use cargo vans that are completely self contained. that means i have my own water and the vans are wired for external power. also vac hose is external and extracter hose is external.one pull on the generater and im off to work. pressure washer is also inside and set up on a one pull auto choke. i havent had any epa problems yet.but most of my mobile work is residential.when i do commercial stuff i pull the van around so what im doing cant be seen from the road. but the soap is biodegradable so i dont imagine id have any problems anyway

        Have you thought of parking in front of a busy office? By having your van outside, presenting your name, wouldn't that increase the amount of calls/potential customers you get?

          its winter here so i do in house work only at my shop. but my van is sitting in a driveway outside a restaurant that a friend of mine owns thats on a busy highway whith a 40 mph speed limit so the calls are coming in and my spring/summer is filling up
