Wow. Just wow. Obviously he is not aware that Meguiars works with paint manufacturers like PPG when they developed CeramiClear to make sure the paint would be correctable.

I read his comments in the NXT wax thread too. So sadly misinformed. He makes a sarcastic comment that "But what do they know right?....Meguair's, and other mediocre companies that only care about getting your money know your car's paint better than the paint manufacturer." I guess he knows more about Meguiars products and what is in them than Meguiars does, huh?

Yes, the amount of misinformation, disinformation, and total ignorance is astonishing at times. From the dreaded silicones to things like "brand X is a professional line of products, Meguair's is just a consumer off the shelf brand", sometimes you just want to scream into cyberspace. But when someone is so dead set in their ways, and influenced by their own arrogance, there really isn't much any of us can do on a public forum to change their minds. I have found that posting in an intelligent, well thought out manner, with photos to back up claims, more people listen and begin to understand that there is much more to making paint shine than finding "the best wax".

If silicone is so horrible and destructive why do 7 out of 10 magazine models prefer using it for... oops...wrong column!

21 out of 24, 24 out of 27, 22 out of 25, it's always 3 that don't use Meguiar's. Are they always same 3 guys?
