Hello every one hopefully you all are doing well. I want to know for all those who do aggressive color sanding if they guide coat the clear when color sanding and completely removing orange peel and any defects in the paint, for a straight reflection. example: I mostly start at 1000 grit and finish at 3000. If its a light color I use the 3M dry guide coat to show all the 1000 scratches an keep on going until they are completely gone, it works great many times sometimes it works ok and sometimes it does nothing. It's a way of ensuring that no scratches get away. Does any one do something different or just wet sand by feel? Thanks. I am mentioning this because I was talking to a prestigious hot rod shop and they said they guide coat when color sanding and buffing, their vehicles are astoneshing!!!!
