They think I'm a pro or something ??? I'm a police officer and I detailed few patrol cars last month. I have been getting co -workers asking me to detail their cars personal cars. It's crazy what a good cleaning and wax job will do for a car. At a co-worker and family BBQ I demostrated my new skills by detailing a co-workers car (in between brisket and beer). It's pretty cool that you can get pretty nice results with just wash, clay, Scratch X, Color X, and NXT. I don't feel right taken money right now since I'm just starting out. So I will detailing family and friends cars for about $50 bucks and or beer. LOL I'm having fun. This might be a cool part time job. Maybe when I retire I'll more professional skills.

Thanks for the encourgement. My Sgt. drives a Ford Excursion with huge off-road tires, I'm trying to avoid him. LOL I'm hoping Santa brings me G-100 this year. I'll ask my wife to clue him in.

My wifes minivan was the reason I got my G100. I did a couple all by hand details of it and just couldn't do any more. The G100 makes it so much easier and gave me better results.

The PC/G-100 is great. Besides all my Meguiar's products, my PC is my best detailing investment.

Nice, have had people comment on my detailing abilities to the point I may start my own side business (hence my insurance thread).

I don't do our squad cars but my own cars. I have used several different products but found Meguiars to be the best I have people asking me to do their cars and almost booked up for next month (yes they know the snow may start to fly next month) and have weekends off (thank the Capt for letting me Bailiff for a while)

I have almost 13 years in and tired of wearing Kevlar and Polyester for a living.

and....I know who the bad guys are and won't detail their cars. He he he

It's too bad Santa is a Z-head! Pfffft! Let's just say that the milk I leave out is PAST the date!
