  • Pricing on limo detail

I'm not a Pro but I've got a question for you guys. My wifes boss owns a 1998 Lincoln Town car...28' I'm guessing. It's black and a swirl-fest to say the least. It's only driven 3-4 times a month and is always garaged. Hardly any bonded contaminents. He has expressed some interest in having it "buffed out" as he says it. I don't think he's that much concerned about swirl removal as he is about bringing back some gloss and depth to the finish. What's a good starting price to quote him.....if I even decide I want to tackle this beast! I own a PC, pads, and an assortment of Megs products....#80, #9, DC2, NXT, DC3, #26 and more.
    Black......the ONLY color!

well depending on how much you really want to work should depend how you tackle this if you even do. I personally would not go at it since the shear size without a rotary to speed up the polishing then use #66 via pc to remove any buffer marks then top with 21 or what ever you choose(if you go this route rotary or pc I highly recommend a rolling mechanics stool) Harbor freight has an adjustable one that works well and would be perfect height for this. If you were just using a pc and want to get this done in a day or less. Use #66 then top with 21 most swirls will be gone or totally hidden and will be slick as anything else. As far as price well just exterior at least 300 no less thats what I would charge with 66 toped w/21 and a qew wash to start. If it has a vinyl roof mix up some hyper dressing for a nice touch. Hope that helps. Greg.

Pricing is always based on your hourly rate to do the work. This is determined by your costs of operation including what you want to make plus benefits.

Hourly rate times hours to do the vehicle.

      Simple math.
