  • APC on wheels

Anybody use APC wheels. I was trained that way in the shop I worked in due to the high volume we used that. It was diluted 1 part apc 4 parts water. I have used on my vehicles for years and never had any oxidation problems etc. I would be ripping through bottles of wheel and tire cleaner if I didnt. I buy them by the gallon and they always do a fantastic job but I dont want to do more harm than good. I used the yellow industrial white wall cleaner on tires. I also use a brass brush on the raised white letters. Maybe it is old school so looking for some input.

I have used APC on wheels and tires.. so far so good. I tend to use the Multi-Pice wheel cleaner primarily, but will give them a squirt and quick brush with APC if I see I missed a spot. I tend to be a bit closer to 6-7:1 though.

The APC seems to work fine for blackwall tires.

I would love to hear someones experiences with it on whitewalls?

APC works good on whitewalls. I will say that Safe D-Greaser works better on whitewalls for some reason. I tried using both products on different tires, and I can always tell which one I use Safe D-Greaser on.

So I keep my APC for my hinges, interior, and spot treating my towels.
Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..

I have had to use it at times on wheels and worked ok. the degreaser/whitreall cleaner works better IMO. MAkes the tires **** up the dressing.
