Edit: Why do you guys do this to me?

    Please read the rules

It's okay to post the name and ask questions about products but no commercial Clickable links.

I notice the company that built their website is based our of Seattle and their website offers no information where they're located. Hmmm....

Looks like another type of Grit Guard to me, all I use is Grit Guards in my wash and rinse buckets.

Yep, just Grit Guards for me as well...

By the way, you better remove your "clickable" link - Mike will get it if you don't...

Why is the link a bad thing? I didn't see anything in the rules about links. I'm confused since the board lets you insert them... Can someone please show me what I am missing here?

            A little OT....

This is a Meguiars sponsored board.... they are trying to promote their products not another companies. Meguiars has put their employees, time and money in to make this board possible and I would guess they only want their products to benefit as much as possible.

You can link to Meguiars.com or any other Meguiars Online post.

            Here is the rule.
            9. No commercial messages will be allowed. This includes web site links, phone numbers and email addresses. Commercial messages will be deleted.

            Hope that helps.

Back OT.... I have not used this particular product but I have a couple Grit Guards and they are well worth it. If this product works the same it too would be worth it.

This company is located in Tacoma, Washington. The dirtguard system is not just a strainer, but a washboard, strainer filtration system. Actually extracting dirt particles from your mitt or brush and trapping it in the fiber of the filter and under it. Your not regurgitating the dirt back up. Your using the cleanest water and mitt at all times. I like it! Effective and affordable

Hmmm...what a large coincidence! You just joined the site, you are from Puyallup, WA, which seems to be a suburb of Tacoma, your profile says you are in the car care business, and you give a glowing "review" of this product.

In the interest of full disclosure, can you tell us if you are affilitated with the Dirtguard manufacturer?

How does it 'extract' the dirt from the mitt? I've seen a picture of a grit-guard and it just looks like it sits on the bottom keeping the dirt from anything that might sink to the bottom?
I've read about the 2 bucket system and think that may be better than the grit-guard. Perhaps using both methods?

I can not speak for the 'system' in this post... The Grit-Guard does just as you said, sits on the bottom of the bucket keeping the mitt separated from the grit on the bottom of the bucket. Using the Grit-Guard and the two bucket method is about as good as it gets when it comes to hand washing. The Grit-Guards work very well!

Hi Mike~ to answer your question honestly, I am affiliated with the Dirtguard and I innocently posted a reply to this thread because there was a question posted about the Dirtguard which I could answer. My brother designed and patent the Dirtguard.
