It is best applied by PC or rotary. Meguairs recomends 2 layers of wax, so I usualy top a cleaner/wax with a regular wax. #66 followed by #21 should be real nice, for a quik detail.

I've put it on with a rotary, and hit the nook's and cranny's by hand. comes off easy if you put it on thin. Lasts a long time...

If you do a second coat, wait till the next day so the first coat will cure, and yes you can see a difference after it cures, looks richer to me.

        Hey,

I have used a lot of #66 from cars, to even my RV! It works great! It does IMO, work better with the rotary buffer for removing marring. Otheriwse, by hand, PC or rotary, the choice is yours!

I have a quesiton for those who apply #66 with a rotary buffer. Do you remove the product immediately or let it set up for a while?

After buffing, I usually leave the #66 on the surface and then move on to the next two panels. After the third, I come back and wipe off the residue from the panels.

My experience with 66 has been with the DA if the surface is in decent shape and with a rotary if it needs more cutting action. It goes on easy and wipes off easy if I wipe it off right away. Last time I used it with the rotary, I did the entire vehicle and came back to remove it after I was finished, it was rather difficult to remove for some reason. I had to break out the QD to get it off.

Any problems with marring with a rotary and 66?
