      samer al-shurafa,

Thank you for a good post.

Automobile's paint finishes almost always require different processes in order to get good results. It all depends on the age and condition of the paint.

For example; a brand new automobile will usually only need to be polished and waxed. Since the surface of a new automobile is a lot cleaner than one that's a few years old, that is usually all that is necessary.

Of course, older automobiles that have been exposed to environmental factors may contain surface contaimination that will have to be removed, before polishing and waxing. In the case of older automobiles and those with surface contaimination, it is very important to use a paint cleaner type of product, such as cleaner/compound, cleaner/polish or cleaner/wax.

It basically comes down to a three step process and that process usually depends on the age and condition of the paint.

      1- Clean
      2- Polish
      3- Wax
