    I tired to get the guy to come down and look at it today but he was busy. This SUV will be a lease return but the cousin of the sales person that drives it will be buying it from what I hear. I have done 5 or 6 cars/trucks for him so I think he will be happy with what I have done so far.

      wow i never imagined it was that bad! you could try to compleatly strip off the clear coat... but i dont know if thats a good idea... i think that you could use medalion paint cleaner to remoce a large amount of the clear coat!

      note... just what i think ive never used medalion

        To completely remove the clear coat would mean that the car would need to be repainted. Not a good thing at all.

        From what I know, Medallion (MPPC) is more of a chemical cleaner than abrasive so it should be to destructive to the clear coat on any car.

          True, and over time, the fading will continue and any noticeable marks will be even less visible.

          We're all seeing things because we're looking for them in your posts, but as a daily driver, that's far less likely. Once you're done with your work, I'm sure your customer will be appreciative, espeically since you say that you have a working relationship with him.
