  • detailer line and questions

I have been asked to clean up a couple cars and mainly the drill rigs that the company my mom works for they are going to be paying for the chemicals so i was thinking about the detailer line mainly because they are in gallon jugs.

The drill rigs they want my to do are fairly large they have the cad equivalent near the size of about a ford 550 super duty. They want me to degrease and pressure wash/steam the back down were all the clay and mud is from the boom and the drilling euipment. would the superdegreaser work pretty well for this?
And is there a dillution for it?

Also the interior has abou a quarter inch of clay and mud from the drillers on the rubber floor I was thinking apc for this and the dash would this be acceptable if so what dillution?

To dress all the rubber and dash i was thinking hyper dressing does this have any uv protectant built in? what dillution ratio would you recomend?

Sorry i dont have pics. I will be placing an order in the next 2 days any tips or advice would be great just picture the cab or a truck with rubber floor vinyl seats and totally trashed mud and all on everything. Thanks. Greg.

Super degreaser mixed 4:1 should work for you. By it by the 5 gallon container. You will need plenty if you have a number of rigs to do.

Power wash the interior of the rigs. Degreaser is useless against thick clay and mud. Allot of water at high pressure will get everything clean. After the power wash follow then with degreaser.

Skip any dressing on the interiors. Leave them clean and dry. If you must use a dressing DO NOT USE HYPER DRESSING but use #40 instead.

Thanks for the info. The pressure washer is also the steamer i should have stated that early so using it to steam the interior isnt gonna work. Would the super degreaser work on the vinyl seats, dash, and rubber floor or would i be better off going wit apc? what dillution? Also is was only thinking of dressing the dash because i doubt most of the crud will come off because its probably permanetely stained I was thinking it would cover up. They only want me to wash the cad off they are used roughly and the owner isnt to cocerned with swirls etc the drillers are rough on them anyhow. He just wants the majority of the crud off. He is giving me 200 the blast most of the crud off and basically wipe down the interior. I did a smaller 350 ford size one for residential drilling and they gave me 150 it isnt anything hard to do and these are just slightly bigger its just mainly the crud in and out. I had to use some degreaser he gave me but it didnt help at all. and all i had was simple green for the interior didnt help hardly and made everything smell like it THANKS GREG.

make sure the computer isnt stuffed under the seat.

really i would pull the seat out, put plastic over the dash after a good cleaning.

mix yourself a good 5 gallon bucket of APC diluted 4:1

a stiff bristle brush and go to town.

use tire dressing on the rubber floormats..not the gas or brake pedal, and wipe off the excess..
