  • Final dry buffing

Is it advisable to dry buff after you get done waxing?
I use a 7" orbital that has a wool-syn blend bonnet. Should I use it or do I risk instilling swirls?? Thanks a lot

What advantage would there be in the dry buffing? What are you trying to achieve?

Don't know. Extra bling I guess. I think it could be an old habit.
After all wax is off I do a final wipe with a mf towel. Is that all I need to do?
Just did my black Taurus in GC and it is awesome!! Too bad I got home in the dark. Will put 16 on top on Fri.

That final step isn't needed. Put on your product of choice, follo wthe instruction on dry time and such , then wipe it off.

            Hey Kelly,

I would strongly advise against dry buffing as this will usually install buffing marks into the finish.

Will do. Plus remove wedding band!! I think that is where some of scratches are coming from.
