NXT Wax

Hi All,

I am from Singapore. I own a Mazda 2 Black Ride. This is my first time using Meguiars NXT Tech Wax. After applying and removing of the wax by hand, I discover that there are patches of light and dark black colour tone around the body, something like oil stains. Kindly advise and did i did the correct way?

Hi nobody!...........Welcome to the forum.

In my experiences with NXT wax, it's best to prep the finish with a paint cleaner of some sort before applying a coat of wax. Also, be sure to allow enough time for NXT to dry before removing it with a clean microfiber towel.

Sometimes applying another application of NXT 24 hrs. later can improve the looks of things, but I have seen these problems clear up on their own too, after the wax has had some extra curing time.

Even if you don't have swirls, follow this system the first time you use any wax.

How To Remove Swirls By Hand

Then apply two thin coats of wax.

After that you can maintain by washing and waxing with only 1 coat.
