  • Is this normal for a Noob??

I have this mental block that says I should do the whole car at one time. I want to get the swirls out of my black paint but time is short. I plan to do a door or two then tommorrow the hood etc. For some reason I feel like Have to do the whole car at once.
    Is the normal??

It's normal to WANT to do everything at once, but not always an option with time constraints.

If you DO only one or two panels today, then come back another time, does this mean you're keeping the vehicle inside, or are you driving it between polishing sessions? As long as the paint is clean, you can do as little or as much as you want in one day.

Car sits outside. So I was thinking of doind a door then wax it and move on as time permits. Some driving.

As long as you wax/seal in the work you've done, sounds like a plan to me. Don't feel bad about not doing it all at once: look how many people never try to do anything!

Ok! It just gets so dang dark these day's. I'm figuring that once I get all the way around, I can do the whole car with 16 and i'll be ready for old man winter.

Espeacialy if using ScratchX by hand, breaking things up is great. Better to do all 3 steps on a section, than all ScratchX, and leave no protection for a few days.

Went ahead and did whole car today. Left wheels and tires for another day. Plus the interior. To dark for pic.Used 80 GC wax, let cure for 45 minutes, wiped right off!!. Oh Man it shines on black.
