NXT to Pad question

I've read the how to section on how much product (80 & 83) you should apply to your pad. I use the same principle when appling NXT to the pad which is very little. Tonight when I finished my job I removed the pad from the PC and noticed that it was saturated. Is this common with NXT ?
or am I using to much ? I have not had this occur with the 80 & 83. The only thing I see different is the pad itself 8006 for the polish/cleaner and the 9006 for the wax.

Sooner or later any liquid used long enough will tend to saturate into the pad. Nature of the beast.

Thanks, that was the answer I was hoping for. I thought maybe I was applying to much pressure when applying the NXT
